At Home. In Good Hands.
Professional Care Brought to Your Loved One's Home.
Nursing Care
Certain conditions of advanced age need to be monitored and recorded—when you are thousands of miles away, professional care and monitoring are the answers.
Our trained healthcare professionals visit your loved ones regularly, assess their condition, and attend to all clinical needs on the spot. We create your loved one's medical file and build on it with every visit, every doctor's appointment, every investigation. Wherever they go, the file goes. That is continuity of care.
Services offered under Nursing Care:*
Visiting healthcare professionals · Systematic health assessments · Medication set-up and administration · Wound care and dressing changes · Catheter and ostomy care · IV therapies · Insulin administration · Investigation sample collection · Palliative support
Dementia Care
For those living with memory decline, familiar surroundings and consistent routines are not comforts—they are clinical necessities.
Our trained dementia carers visit your loved one at home, maintain their daily routines and schedules, and provide gentle orientation to time, place, and the people around them. In their own space, with minimal disruption, they can move freely and live with dignity.
As with all Lanka Home Care clients, a complete medical file is maintained and updated with every visit—ensuring every member of the care team has the full picture, always.
Doctor Visits
Getting an elderly parent to the right doctor—finding the specialist, making the appointment, arranging transport, getting there, collecting results, filling prescriptions—is difficult enough even when you are standing right next to them. From the other side of the world, it is an ordeal.
We handle the entire process. Appointment, transport, accompaniment, investigations, prescriptions, follow-up—end to end. If we identify a need during a care visit, we initiate the process with your approval and see it through to resolution. You do not need to remind us.
Physiotherapy & Mobility
As the years advance, aches, pain, and the aftermath of illness or surgery can limit movement and independence. Reduced mobility and restricted movements are not just physical deterrents—they affect mood, confidence, and quality of life
Our physiotherapists visit your loved one at home. Between sessions, our trained healthcare professionals support their exercise routines to keep progress on track. No gaps, no regression.
How It Works
Assessment
We visit your loved one at home, assess their needs, home environment, and existing support—and make recommendations including modifications where needed. This is where we get to know them.
Care Plan
We build a personalised care plan, agree on visit frequency, centralise medical records, and formalise the agreement before the first care visit.
Ongoing Care
Our team delivers care on the ground. Every visit is recorded. If anything needs attention, we act—with your approval—and see it through to resolution.
Built on Clinical Standards
Every trained healthcare professional at Lanka Home Care has access to a senior nurse. Every nurse has direct access to an on-call doctor for phone support. When situations require specialist input, our priority specialist network is available without long waiting periods. Centralised electronic records ensure every member of your loved one's care team has the full picture—always.
